ST. THOMAS LUTHERAN CHURCH 5K RUN/5K WALK
We are pleased to announce that our second annual 5K Race/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, the day before Easter Sunday at 10:00 a.m. This year's race will focus on Community Celebration.

Celebrating our second 5K RACE/5K WALK with our community and friends is an honor - it is because of your love and support that we have achieved this milestone.

Our race will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 beginning at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 1439 Ridge Road, Hooversville, PA 15936. The race will start at 10:00 a.m. Race day registration will be held at St. Thomas Lutheran Church Grove, 1341 Ridge Road (next to the church). However, preregistration is encouraged. The cost is $25.00 to April 1, $30.00 after this date and on race day. The family rate (3 or more from same household) is $15.00 each family member registered by April 1, $20.00after this date and on race day. Race hat to preregistered applicants by April 1. Hats available after that date and on race day as supplies last. Register early to avoid disappointment!

Awards given for 5K Run include:
Top Overall Male & Female,
Top Three Males and Top Three Females in Age Groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Awards in 5K Walk include:
Top Overall Male & Female,
Top Three Males and Top Three Females in Age Groups 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

No dogs are allowed and the course will be closed by noon.

Race proceeds will help benefit St. Thomas Youth Programs in addition to community support for our schools, fire departments, police, EMS, and those in need.

If you own a business or know of a business willing to be a sponsor to help cover up front costs, we greatly appreciate your support. As well, individual contributors are also appreciated as a sponsor and/or in-kind donations. Thank you for your consideration! In appreciation for your sponsorship, if applicable, all Sponsor Options will be included on the race hats, on information to the public (via social media, newspapers, TV news, posters, along with sponsor brochures with your business information) and during race day activities.
